Wicker chairs and couches with overstuffed pillows sit on unique, native rugs set over rustic stone floors, while adorable lamps shaped like pineapples provide additional light to the already cheerful area. Individual guestrooms are over 355 square feet, and come with either one king bed or two queen beds. Meanwhile, you can choose between two primary kinds of suites here. Junior suites have approximately 520 square feet of space, and come with either one king bed or two queen beds. One-bedroom suites have a comfy king bed set among some 545 square feet of space.
The in-room décor at Maui Coast Hotel is minimalistic yet refined. The color scheme is a nice mixture of warm, earth tones—think lots of simple browns and tans and natural woods. Each room gets a lot of sunshine on account of the floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors leading to your own personal lanai. Wall art, when there is any, is often a fine example of a local/regional painting.
Individual guestrooms come standard with an assortment of appealing amenities. Here you’ll have a pull-out sofa bed, your own in-room coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, microwave, iron/ironing board, and complimentary wireless Internet access. How is it Ecofriendly?
Maui Coast Hotel has a strong, distinguished track record of being an ecofriendly hotel in all facets of its facility’s day-to-day operations. In recent years, Maui Coast Hotel has instituted a high-efficiency solar power system right on its grounds. This system did not require any additional building or constructing projects; instead of expanding the hotel’s footprint even more, they were able to use only already existing infrastructure, constructing solar panels directly on the hotel’s roof and “repurposing” an old tennis court. As a result of these efforts, electricity usage at the hotel is expected to drop nearly 30%, while it is anticipated that the facility’s greenhouse-gas emissions will be reduced significantly, too.
In addition to this ambitious solar-panel program, Maui Coast Hotel has a number of other environmentally conscious on-site policies. It has a substantial number of recycling bins located all throughout the facility, while guests are actively encouraged to recycle and conserve water throughout their stay.
